About The Position

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic, results-driven individual to join as a Jr. System Bench Architect Intern in our Summer Internship Program. The Systems Bench Architect will be part of a team to ensure all systems and software test benches meet the functional requirements of the projects.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or be a graduate from an accredited college
• GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date
• PCB layout experience
• Ability to debug test systems and the board/interconnect level
• Basic soldering and circuit board modification experience
• IT setup / computer upgrades experience
• Experience with NI-Veristand, NI-LabVIEW, NI FPGA Programming
• Python programming experience

Responsibilities

• Participates in design, procurement, installation, and deployment of test benches
• Collaborate with systems development and test teams, as well as with the hardware and software teams throughout product development process for electrification products
• Continue development of bench top RESolver simulator prototype
• Continue development of RESolver buffer box prototype
• Develop tools in Python and LabVIEW to support bench infrastructure
• Support bench tools, Vector, Lauterbach, and ETAS
