About The Position

The JR Sous Chef position will report to the Executive Chef and will be responsible to coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Kitchen and Development of Menus. This role is located at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' training center, also known as the Advent Health Training Center, in Tampa, Florida. The position requires a passion for food, effective communication skills, and the ability to work within Nutritionist Guidelines. The JR Sous Chef must also possess strong leadership skills and the ability to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness in the Kitchen Area.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Professional training through a culinary education or experience in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining restaurant/catering facility.
  • Two to three years of experience working in a fast-paced high-end club or restaurant.
  • Ability to lift and transport food and other items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage menu, specials, and services offered.
  • Ability to assure compliance with company service standards and inventory control procedures.
