Job Description: What you'll do: Develop professional forms for insurance companies. Create and format tables in Word documents for use in mail merge functionality. Apply mail merge fields to tables in the documents. Construct proper x-paths from an XML file and maps them to merge fields in the Word document. Perform quality assurance testing and support for assigned products. Troubleshoot problems with merges to determine where breakdown has occurred; repair merges as required. Write VB.NET and C# code as needed for dealing with form triggers and electronic notifications. Understand print system functionality so as to provide recommendations to Business Analysts for system changes as required. Work with the Application Development staff to resolve basic to moderately complex issues. Manage print task lists for customers’ requests and/or reported defects; prioritize and communicate status with customers as needed. Provide daily support to customers and co-workers resolving problems. Maintain good working relationships with counter-parts on the customers’ staff and facilitate discussions to resolve problems. What you'll bring: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree. B.S. in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Math or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel Applications, including expert level experience in Microsoft Word. Experience formatting professional and visually appealing documents. Demonstrated technical aptitude. Familiarity with VB.NET and C# programming, reading and use of XML files, x-path syntax, SQL databases and simple SQL queries a plus! Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Work under general supervision; rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Work style and logistics: Full time, generally 40 + hours, with occasional after-hours/on-call support as needed. Mostly sedentary. Open concept work environment – light to moderate noise activity.
