In support of government customer, we are seeking a S & T Engineer – Jr. with experience in supporting (DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/ principles/organizational protocols). Job Duties: Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering or scientific work in a project or performs work that involves conventional engineering or scientific practices. Typical work may include research, development, design, testing, logistics, analysis, production, maintenance, operation, planning, estimating, application, or standardization of engineering facilities, systems, structures, software applications, firmware, processes equipment, devices, or materials. Generates specifications or plans to support the development of acquisition documentation. Supports technical findings, opinions or recommendations. Performs customer liaison, makes presentations and attends customer meetings. Consults with stakeholders on technical applications to support program management decisions. - Using appropriate techniques, processes, procedures, and management tools to design and develop policies, processes, strategic and S&T Roadmaps and operations including Business Processes and Workflows, Business  - Cases Knowledge Management processes and tools, and Capabilities Based Portfolio Analysis.  - Performing appropriate level tasks, functions, and analysis for the APM-E, PM Integration Engineer, and PM ATI.  - Supporting S&T and the Integration Engineer’s efforts through basic analysis and evaluation of current capabilities, operational readiness, and operational needs.  - Summarizing capabilities and identifying risks and shortfalls associated with S&T insertions into existing Programs. Interfacing with various external organizations and attending meetings at Government or other contractor facilities. -Drafting, staffing, and submitting CDRLs for Government review.

  • BS / BA (Engineering Field preferred)
  • (0-2) years of work related experience
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of DoD Acquisition policies, such as DoD5000.02 and SECNAV 5000.02 and MAG.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS when Need to Know is required.
  • Familiarity with DoD Acquisition policies, such as DoDI and SECNAV 5000.02 and MAG, and the SETR Framework, Process, and Handbooks.
