About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the HR Manager, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. The Entry-Level HR Generalist supports recruiting, onboarding, and day-to-day HR operations. This role is ideal for a developing HR professional looking to gain hands-on experience across core HR functions while serving as a point of contact for candidates and new hires.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2 years of experience in HR or recruiting preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office equipment skills (as well as a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology in support of business operations).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with full-cycle recruiting, including posting jobs, phone screenings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates and hiring managers
  • Support onboarding activities such as preparing offer letters, new hire paperwork, background checks, and orientation
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry of employee data into HRIS and ATS systems
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate records.
  • Collaborate with HR team to plan and execute recruitment strategies
  • Serve as a first point of contact for new hires during onboarding
  • Respond to routine employee HR questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Maintain personnel files and ensure documentation compliance
  • Assist with benefits enrollment changes and employee status updates
  • Support performance review tracking and HR reporting
  • Assist with compliance tasks, audits, and policy administration
  • Support new hire orientation and ensure completion of required paperwork.
  • Respond to candidate inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies during the hiring process.
  • Provide general administrative support, including scheduling, filing, and reporting.
