About The Position

This position is located in our Dallas, TX office. For this role on this particular client engagement, employer sponsorship of immigration related visa and/or green card status as part of the PERM process will not be available. We're looking for a Junior Quality Engineer to join our agile development team in Dallas. In this role, you'll help ensure our applications meet high quality standards through hands-on testing and collaboration with developers and product teams.

Requirements

  • Over 1+ years of experience working as a quality engineer in an Agile team.
  • 1+ years of test automation experience using Selenium and Cucumber.
  • Experience in Karate and Playwright.
  • Experience in managing code repositories and versions using Azure DevOps, GIT or SVN.
  • Experience developing API tests using Karate framework.
  • Experience developing tests using cucumber and BDD frameworks.
  • 1+ years of experience developing, maintaining & executing automated regression tests for web and backend applications.
  • 1+ years of experience writing SQL scripts.
  • Understanding of Agile project management/ DevOps tools.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in basic agile meetings and follow agile ways of working.
  • Help create and run manual and automated tests for web applications.
  • Write and update test cases, test plans, and simple automation scripts.
  • Investigate test failures, log defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
  • Assist with automating repetitive testing tasks.
  • Share testing progress and results with the QA lead and team.
  • Communicate clearly in writing and speaking.
