The Jr Project Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) with the planning, execution, and delivery of projects. Additionally, this role will assist with acquisition integration, supporting integration activities across systems, processes, and teams. This role is ideal for a candidate who is newer to project management and looking to grow their career. The ideal candidate has a go-getter attitude and possesses a strong desire to learn, using their strong communication and organizational skills to continue driving integration activities to completion. The role resides in the Project Management Office and reports directly to the Vice President of Project Management & Acquisitions.

  • Lead and oversee multiple entry-level projects simultaneously from initiation through closure, ensuring all deliverables meet PMO standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define project goals, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration among stakeholders, enabling informed and timely decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Provide strategic direction and recommendations for achieving project goals within defined time, budget, and resource constraints.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and escalate project risks, dependencies, and issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including charters, scope documents, status reports, roles & responsibilities, risk registers, and post-project evaluations.
  • Manage and track project scope changes, ensuring proper change control and stakeholder communication.
  • Lead regular project meetings, establish clear agendas, and ensure follow-up on key actions and decisions.
  • Promote and support the adoption of best practices in project management, providing coaching and guidance to project teams.
  • Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and delivery methods.
  • Provide administrative and project management support for acquisition integration initiatives involving cross-functional teams, ensuring project plans are accurate and updated.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing projects in a corporate or consulting environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Planner, or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies, including risk management, change control, and resource planning.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and thrive under pressure.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging stakeholders from technical teams to senior leadership.

  • Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and process improvement.
  • On occasion, an employee may need to travel to a branch, with travel not exceeding 10%.
  • The Project Manager is a Richardson-based role, working 5 days in-office at Associa’s new corporate campus.
  • The campus has an in-house cafeteria offering breakfast and lunch, in addition to grab n’ go markets. Employees also have access to an in-house fitness center with showers.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certification a plus but not required.
