About The Position
AKIMA Construction Group consists of multiple companies (Portico, Jade Creek and our newly formed 8(a) Artic Peak) and is rapidly growing within the southeastern region of the USA. Jade Creek (An AKIMA Company) is seeking Senior Construction Program-Project Manager with solid experience managing Federal construction projects to join our team. We provide global Construction Management Services as a General Contractor in support the federal government (DoD, DoJ & FedCiv). The PM manages a team of professionals that comprise the Project Management Office, including a Safety Manager, Scheduler, Estimator, Project Specialist, and Site Superintendent. The Junior Project Manager's responsibility is to assist and the Senior Project Managers in the field construction of a project and to complete the Work on schedule, within the budget and to the quality of workmanship specified. This is an entry level management position and is a training and growth opportunity in the construction trades, specifically in Federal domestic Department of Defense contracts. This is an apprentice type role to support Senior Project Managers in the performance of daily coordination for multiple construction projects.
