About The Position

The Jr. Packaging Production Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and executing packaging designs that align with brand identity across the rhode skin portfolio. The deliverables will need to meet production, sustainability, and regulatory standards. This role ensures that all packaging projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with brand standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in package design, graphic design, or other related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in Beauty or Personal Care packaging design & production
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Strong understanding of print production processes and materials
  • Attention to detail, typography, and layout precision
  • Knowledge of packaging compliance and labeling regulations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (Box & Asana)

Responsibilities

  • Execute packaging concepts that reflect brand positioning and resonate with consumers across retail, e-commerce, and promotional channels.
  • Produce package renderings utilized to pitch colors, shapes and concepts.
  • Maintain visual alignment with brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries within the packaging space.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration with R&D, Operations and Project Management & Product Marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with external manufacturers to ensure accurate execution of packaging specs, color fidelity, material selection and final production.
  • Support Packaging by attending press checks, reviewing print proofs, review product ranges, troubleshoot design & production challenges, and ensure quality standards are upheld during printing and manufacturing.
  • Organize and maintain a central repository for all packaging assets within Asana, ensuring easy access for the team and ensuring brand consistency across all materials.
  • Manage routing of artwork files through cross functional teams.
  • Assist in management of Copy Documents, ensuring accurate archives of packaging related copy for artwork.
