Overview Supports distribution operations through PM execution, training, changeover, set-up, and repair of distribution equipment for assigned platform. Works with operations team to reduce downtime by improving equipment reliability. Requirements

  • Ability to troubleshoot most equipment in facility.
  • Ability to read and understand equipment manuals.
  • Ability to complete full changeover unassisted.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to install and repair plumbing.
  • Ability to repair pneumatic equipment.
  • Basic compressor knowledge.
  • Ability to work under stress.
  • Standing, sitting or walking for duration of shift.
  • Visually read work orders, product, etc.
  • Manual dexterity for such duties as needed in the maintenance field.
  • Ability to work in high elevations, climb stairs, etc.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate projects.
  • Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.).
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Two (2) plus years’ experience in similar role

Nice To Haves

  • Beginning electrical experience.
  • Knowledge of advanced mechanical tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Beginning welding experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains equipment by performing preventive maintenance, mechanical repairs, and aiding operations in sanitizing, cleaning, and lubricating.
  • Trains operations team to increase capability, including the creation of simple one point communications to document best practices
  • Performs set-up, changeover, and repair of distribution equipment.
  • Completes various special projects according to skill and ability.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
  • Performs facility assignments as required.
  • Works long or unusual hours on assigned shift.
