About The Position
Join our dynamic team Risk Management team as a Jr. Market Risk Analyst at Axos Clearing, a leading subsidiary clearing firm of Axos Bank. In this role, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and managing market risks to ensure the firm's financial stability. You will work closely with senior analysts and other departments to analyze market trends, assess risk exposures, and develop risk mitigation strategies. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in risk management and to contribute to the firm's success. You will be involved in daily risk monitoring, stress testing, and scenario analysis, providing critical insights that drive our risk management decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Broker dealer experience
- Risk management experience
- Series 7 license
Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends and credit risk data
- Prepare reports on market and credit risk exposure
- Collaborates with senior analysts to identify potential risks and recommends risk mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain risk models and reports
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of policies and procedures that enhance the firm's risk management framework
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies to evaluate risk exposures
- Ensure that all risk management activities adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Work cross-functionally with departments such as trading, compliance, and operations to ensure a comprehensive approach to risk management
- Engage in special projects aimed at improving risk management processes and systems
