About The Position

The Junior Loan Processor works closely with Loan Originators, Sales and other staff members to prepare loan files for approval, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every step of the process. In this role, you will handle document verification, prepare compliance disclosures, and assist with resolving any issues that arise during loan processing. This position is perfect for a motivated individual with a strong attention to detail and a desire to build a career in mortgage lending.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Calyx or Encompass (preferred).
• Knowledge of mortgage loan processing procedures, compliance regulations, and mortgage documentation is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute regulatory compliance disclosures in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to industry standards and legal requirements.
• Conduct verification and research on borrower-provided information.
• Create initial and final closing disclosures and manage pre-qualification files by inputting data into the system.
• Calendar installment payments to ensure timely collection and tracking.
• Call buyers and collect payments as needed.
• Send and scan copies of receipts through Dropbox for record-keeping.
• Organize and stack closed packet files for efficient record management.
• Assist with additional tasks and projects assigned by management to support overall team operations.
• All pre-quals that transition to a sale pending file must be put together and submitted to sales coordinator for processing.
