About The Position

This opportunity is for a junior interior designer that is creative, passionate about design, and values a team environment. The ideal candidate will be able to balance their creativity with functionality to ensure our clients’ vision is understood and translated into beautiful, purposeful spaces. The candidate for this position will work in collaboration with the Interior Design and Architecture groups to provide services in all Design Studios. Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. Requirements

  • Ability to work well in teams and with multiple disciplines
  • Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Creative Adobe Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Creative Adobe Suite; specifically Illustrator; Photoshop & InDesign is preferred
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture, or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in an Architecture or Interior Design firm is required
  • 2-5 years experience using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Working towards Interior Design Licensure/Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with computer assisted design software such as Enscape and Sketch Up
  • Experience in construction document development, finish selection and space planning/programming

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update space plan concepts
  • Participate in selection of furniture and preparation of furniture specifications.
  • Collaborate on multiple projects under the supervision of senior level staff for all phases of commercial interiors projects
  • Assist project team with coordination of drawings, specifications and materials
  • Production of design drawings in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
