About The Position

The Jr. Insurance Portfolio Associate role is a full-time employment opportunity designed to cultivate aspiring sales professionals through hands-on training, mentorship, and targeted development. As a part of the job requirements, you will shadow and subsequently work alongside our Ally Insurance sales teams as they sell new business to increase market share, expand the penetration of their existing customer base, and retain business through high quality customer satisfaction and reporting.

Requirements

  • Must be geographically mobile within the continental USA and open to relocation within the continental United States.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. A business-related undergraduate degree is highly preferred.
  • Possess the ability to get licensed as required based on position and department assignments (licensing expenses paid for by Ally).
  • Ability to develop business relationships with dealer principles and decision makers.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Well-developed business management, presentation and relationship selling skills.
  • High level of accountability and ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to objectively manage conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Receive immersive training to prepare you for success to grow a long-term career in sales at Ally.
  • Ride along with Ally Dealership Insurance sales team members to better understand Ally's sales roles and the teams that support their success.
  • Interact with various internal teams to form a full understanding of your future roles.
  • Attend sales and developmental trainings to better understand our sales and service process.
  • Coordinate sales and servicing activities with our Account Management and National Accounts teams and all other channel partners.
  • Assist the sales team with documentation processes that ensure accurate dealer account activity is tracked and reporting for leadership and our dealers.
