Peraton is currently seeking to hire a Jr. Help Desk Systems Administrator for our program located at Robins Air Force Base, GA. In this role, you will maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. You will interact with users, make recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinate installation and provide backup recovery. You will ensure workstation data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions. Additionally, you will conduct routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. You will develop and maintain a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration/library of all supporting documentation and process DD2875s. Ancillary duties may include setting up user and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, and installing system-wide software.

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or HS diploma and 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Foundational knowledge of software troubleshooting and installation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, self-supervisory, and results oriented.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • The ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Experienced in TOAP Web, TMIS, Teamcenter systems.
  • General experience with DoD networks.
