About The Position

SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to act in the role of Counselor to the Pinehurst Junior Golf Academy programs. Time will be spent in observing and participating in the daily functions of the Golf Academy while promoting golf instruction, golf club sales and club repair to the membership, resort guest and golfing community. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Currently attending a two or four year College or University with an accredited P.G.M. program. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with the pickup and drop off of PGA students. Assist with monitoring students during school and evening hours. Observe instruction in the golf Academy programs. Assist with set-up and takedown of instructional programs. Assist Director of Golf Academy with daily duties of programs. Assist Director of Golf Academy with research projects as needed. Assist with basic upkeep of the instructional site.
