About The Position

GDIT seeks a Junior UI Developer to join our team, to provide dedicated support for the CCTE Division. This position requires knowledge of both front-end web application development, and experience utilizing test cases scenarios. The role entails consistent interactions with clients at the EPA, on a large team, distributed across six locations in the U.S. The selected candidate must be capable of self-direction with assigned work tasks as well as comfortable and familiar with best practices in remote work. This is an ideal opportunity for a entry level to mid-level developer.

Requirements

1-3 years of related professional IT experience
Front-End Technology Stack Vue.js Nuxt React Next
Ability to prioritize and complete a wide variety of tasking workloads with critical deadlines.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Superior oral and written communications skills, and a demonstrated ability to maintain a patient and professional demeanor, with a can-do attitude.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and professionally to both technical and non-technical parties (who may be key stakeholders).
Ability to manage equipment and services in remote locations.
Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Workability to perform well under pressure.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to maintain an organized workflow, with a high degree of attention to detail.
Security clearance level: must be able to obtain EPA Public Trust Level 4
US citizenship required

Nice To Haves

Experience with Vue.js/Nuxt and React/Next is preferred
Experience working on Federal Sector Contracts
Professional Certification(s)
Familiarity with DevOps, ITIL Agile processes

Responsibilities

QA testing via test cases
Nuxt3 development, and coding primarily to support senior level staff and EPA Federal teams
Create documentation for projects, bug fixes, etc., received from clients
Communicate effectively to support customers and senior level developers to design, plan, and refine large scale projects
Work in Agile/Scrum environments that include standups, JIRA boards, 2 weeks sprints, etc.

The likely salary range for this position is $70,658 - $80,500.
