About The Position

Make an impact supporting the Defense Logistics Agency! Lynch Consultants is seeking a Staff Consultant with a solid understanding of DoD Financial Systems who is ready to take on meaningful challenges and make a measurable difference. As part of the G-Invoicing project, you will be responsible for ensuring that all project tasks are executed properly and as per client requirements. You will meet with clients, understand their requirements, and proactively work to meet these requirements. Managing communication is a key part of this role. You will play a huge part in supporting delivery by following all instructions given by senior consultants and/or the manager. Only applicants who fully satisfy all required qualifications will be considered for further review. Salary: $58,000 - $63,000 commensurate with experience. Work Location and Schedule: This position is located in Ft. Belvoir, VA; on-site daily.

Requirements

  • MUST be a U.S. citizen.
  • MUST have a BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field.
  • MUST be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance and a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • MUST have 3 years of work experience in accounting, finance, consulting, or a related role.
  • MUST be able to work collaboratively in a client-facing consulting environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with GINV and/or Federal Government ERP systems.
  • Experience with FIAR/audit readiness within the Federal Government.
  • Data visualization using Power BI or other data visualization platforms.
  • Understanding of Reimbursable intergovernmental transactions.
  • Experience developing training materials.
  • Experience in a user help desk role.
  • Active Public Trust clearance.
