About the position
The Jr. DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems, ensuring data integrity and efficient performance. This role requires a strong background in Python programming, database architecture, and application design, with a focus on full stack web applications.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal teams to establish application requirements and features
- Utilize Python to interact with various external APIs
- Develop basic UI for interacting with the application
- Automate tasks and processes using scripting languages (Bash, Shell)
- Collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and other teams to deliver projects on time
Requirements
- Experience designing and maintaining full stack web applications using Python and relevant frameworks (Django or Flask)
- 2-4 years of experience with Python programming
- Familiarity with implementing API calls
- An understanding of database design principles and SQL
- Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes experience
- Experience with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with deploying to cloud environments
- Experience with ELK stacks
- Basic understanding of networking
- Understanding of DDoS
