The position involves generating, analyzing, and drawing conclusions on large amounts of data to support efficient management of the category and drive critical business decisions. The role assists Category and Merchandise Managers in managing day-to-day regional vendor contact for all issues related to item setup, pricing, costs, product logistics, and in-stocks. Responsibilities include planning, tracking, and executing vendor/operations sales incentives and/or contests, as well as providing support and recommendations for local planogram assortment and planning. The position also involves collaborating on promotional and pricing management and executing associated regional activities, with occasional overnight travel required. The employee will maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, and participating in professional societies. The role contributes to team efforts by accomplishing determined Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company Plan guidelines.
