About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Business Analyst to join our beverage distribution team. This hybrid role combines data-driven sales and operations analysis with critical administrative support. You will be the "engine room" of the sales and operations departments, ensuring our teams have the right data to drive growth while managing the administrative systems that keep our products moving and our incentives accurate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel: (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas are required).
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to look at a sales/operations report and tell a story about what the numbers mean.
  • Communication: Comfortable explaining data findings to both executive leadership and warehouse staff.
  • Organization: High attention to detail; you are someone who double-checks your work for errors before hitting "send."

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CRM or ERP software (e.g. Encompass) is preferred.
  • SQL: Intermediate knowledge of SQL database structures and query protocols is highly preferred.
  • Python proficiency Preferred

Responsibilities

  • SALES REPORTING & ANALYSIS
  • Extract data from the internal ERP system (Encompass) to create daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and distribution reports.
  • Identify trends in volume, revenue, and distribution across various retail and on-premise channels.
  • Prepare "Gap Analysis" reports to help sales reps identify missed opportunities in their territories.
  • OPERATIONS REPORTING & ANALYSIS
  • Leverage the internal database for reporting on picking, logistics, operations, and loss prevention.
  • Help identify logistical bottlenecks, areas of loss, and potential efficiencies across the operations department
  • Maintain reporting for operations team bonuses and incentives.
  • PRODUCT ALLOCATION
  • Manage the distribution of limited-release or high-demand beverage products across the market.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure allocated products are delivered to the correct accounts.
  • Act as the point of contact for sales reps regarding stock availability and "out-of-stock" updates.
  • SALES INCENTIVES & INITIATIVES
  • Administer and track monthly sales incentive programs.
  • Calculate incentive earnings for the sales force and supplier billbacks with high accuracy.
  • Administer and track sales execution initiatives via surveys and followup reporting.
  • ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
  • Assist in maintaining the customer and product databases, ensuring accurate pricing and territory assignments.
  • Assist in preparing data visualizations for regular leadership meetings.
  • Manage the documentation for vendor bill-backs and supplier-funded promotions.
