The Jr Building Services Assistant ('Jr BSA') performs a wide variety of tasks providing support services to the research, academic, and clinical missions of the Perelman School of Medicine. In general, a Jr BSA works under the direction of a specific Supervisor performing specific support service functions; however, when effective service coverage needs demand, Jr BSAs may be required to work in any of the service functions as detailed under specific duties. Jr BSAs will not be required to work frequent overtime. This job requires walking, standing, lifting, and use of standard tools, as well as the ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted. This position may also require moving of often-delicate equipment between 100-500 pounds. Must be physically able to perform all functions of this position. This is a fixed-term position lasting approximately one year.
