Jr Associate Producer, Audiobooks
About The Position
Junior Associate Producer/Simon & Schuster Audio We are hiring three Junior Associate Producers to support S&S Maverick productions, the Casting/Production team, and Billing & Contracts. Each JR AP will also provide support in all aspects of Audio Production. Excellent writing & communications skills are essential, as is a love of books & audio. The JR AP assists producers in the production of all S&S’s audiobooks, including preparation for recording sessions, script review, research and pronunciations, and arrangements with authors and actors. The JR AP also serves as back-up to producers during sessions, as well as during the post-production process. The JR AP will also be involved in casting, the coordination of manuscripts, credits, and studio scheduling. Onsite support of recording sessions at S&S is required.
Requirements
- College degree necessary.
- Administrative experience in publishing and/or creative production is preferred.
- Must be proficient with computers, both Macs and PCs, database programs, Excel, Acrobat, and file formatting.
- Must also be detail-oriented, highly organized, and a careful and thorough reader.
