The position involves performing terminal operational duties, including loading asphalt into customer tankers, completing delivery receipts, and creating daily summary reports. The role requires transferring products using proper equipment, mixing PMA products according to standard procedures, and conducting inspections to comply with safety and environmental regulations. Additional responsibilities include coordinating fuel deliveries, performing basic housekeeping, and maintaining equipment. The candidate must attend mandatory training and maintain necessary certifications while promoting safety and compliance in the workplace.

  • Operates the terminal load rack to load asphalt into customers' tankers safely.
  • Completes accurate delivery receipts and creates daily summary reports for submission to the Terminal Manager and Finance Department.
  • Transfers product to and from various pieces of equipment using proper pump and valve line ups.
  • Mixes PMA product using the terminal Standard Operating Procedure, understanding temperature, tank levels, feed rates, and mix times.
  • Manually gauges storage tanks for monthly inventory reports.
  • Uses Lock Out Tag Out Procedures to isolate equipment properly.
  • Conducts daily, weekly, and quarterly inspections and files timely reports to comply with safety, health, environmental, and equipment requirements.
  • Coordinates timely fuel truck deliveries and unloads fuel following the Terminal Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Performs other operational duties as assigned by Supervisor and Terminal Manager.
  • Performs basic housekeeping on Terminal premises.
  • Uses hand tools to assist in the disassembly of piping spools for maintenance.
  • Assists with the removal of heater fuel guns for cleaning and maintenance.
  • Maintains compliance with internal control procedures and communicates deviations.
  • Promotes awareness of safety and environmental compliance procedures.
  • Must be able to lift various weights as required for the role.
  • Valid Driver's License and Traffic abstract required.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years mechanical work experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills: Email, Word, Excel helpful.
  • Must be able to pass background check to obtain TWIC card.
