About The Position

The Jr. AI Engineer role will develop AI automations and company-wide tools in support of the office of the COO. This role sits at the intersection of software development, AI, and business operations. An individual with expertise in software development, AI tools and an operational mindset will be deployed across the organization to help disseminate crucial information and efficiencies to teams.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in software development (or strong equivalent project experience)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Familiarity with APIs, databases, and basic system design
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts and tools (e.g., OpenAI APIs, embeddings, prompt engineering, automation tools)
  • Full-stack capability: comfortable building both backend services and clean, functional frontends with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, etc.
  • Excellent architectural judgment — ability to design modular, composable systems that evolve gracefully
  • A proactive go-getter — you take ownership and are accountable for all you do, with the initiative to learn new skills on the fly
  • An effective communicator — you know how to get your point across clearly regardless of who you’re speaking to
  • An adaptable student — you are curious and eager to learn and are passionate about applying AI in real-world business contexts

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop generative AI Products that address real challenges across the organization
  • Translate complex business problems into simple, scalable technical solutions
  • Partner with stakeholders across departments (Ops, HR, Finance, and the Executive team) to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for AI automation
  • Build and test backend AI components that combine data, logic, and model reasoning into workflows
  • Contribute to architecture and implementation plans, helping connect models, data sources, and business processes crucial to Infillion’s management operating system
  • Help design and implement solutions that streamline integration efforts as the Infillion portfolio of companies grows.
  • Prototype quickly, test with users, and iterate based on feedback
  • Document tools and create training resources to support adoption
