About The Position

CPAM Global is a shared services organization providing centralized finance, accounting, HR, and operational support to multiple operating companies within project-based industries. We are expanding our accounting team and are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Jr. Accountant to join our Warren, NJ office with 2–3 years of accounting experience (or equivalent). Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with accounting systems or ERP software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to project-based accounting or revenue recognition concepts.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Deltek, Sage, or similar platforms.
  • Experience in a multi-entity or shared services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with general accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Support the month-end and quarter-end close process across multiple entities.
  • Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with accounts payable processing, including invoice review and coding.
  • Help maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with financial reporting and internal management reports.
  • Provide support for revenue and project accounting processes, including exposure to contract and project financial tracking.
  • Assist with audit preparation and documentation for internal and external reviews.
  • Participate in improving accounting workflows, systems, and internal controls.
