Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited college or university, or currently attending school working towards a Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum one year experience as an accountant/bookkeeper.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with nonprofits or fund accounting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly financials, reports, and budgets according to schedule in a timely manner.
• Assist with audits and yearly reports and schedules in a timely manner.
• Verify, post, and reconcile all transactions that are properly documented in accordance with accounting standards and government regulations.
• Maintain daily cash flow and reconcile cash and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with contract audits and corporate audits, including A-133 and SEFA.
• Work on various tasks and reports assigned by the Controller.
