About The Position

Stellar is seeking a Journeyman Wireman to support in the turnkey electrical installations at Perry, Ga. The role involves reading blueprints and/or technical diagrams, installing work according to NEC guidelines, and running conduit including but not limited to: EMT, IMC, FMC, GRC, SS and PVC. Responsibilities also include installing and terminating transformers, motors, switch gear, and motor control centers following schematics, as well as installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting systems. The position requires inspecting electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, identifying electrical problems using a variety of testing devices, and repairing or replacing wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Additional tasks include conduit bending and pulling wire in a timely manner, managing material inventory and storage, and maintaining a safe work area by following company safety policies and wearing provided PPE on site at all times. The Journeyman Wireman will also need to follow Jobsite/Company/Supervisor rules and guidelines and maintain good attendance, as well as train Helpers and Apprentices. This position offers 100% travel opportunities after project completion, with locations varying throughout the United States.
