About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of carpentry techniques and practices, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves assembling, building, and installing various structures and fixtures, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in all projects.

Requirements

Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry work.
Familiarity with cabinet installation processes and best practices.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Finish carpenter should have experience with high end custom remodel homes and proficient with finish work including but not limited to: trims, cabinets, flooring, etc.
Assemble and build wooden structures, frameworks, and fixtures according to specifications and schematics.
Perform cabinet installation and ensure proper alignment and functionality.
Conduct water damage restoration tasks as needed, including repairing or replacing damaged materials.
Install stucco and other exterior finishes to enhance building aesthetics and durability.
Carry out fixture installation for various applications, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Execute construction painting tasks, applying finishes that meet project requirements.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, utilizing hand tools safely and effectively.
