About The Position

Way Mechanical is a mechanical contractor located in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Nashville and North Carolina. We specialize in commercial air conditioning, plumbing, piping, and the maintenance of these systems. Way Mechanical is at the forefront of design-build/design-assist, preconstruction, commissioning, building information modeling, and quality control. We are seeking a Journeyman Service Plumber to join our team! Duties and Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair sanitary waste & vent (DWV) and domestic water distribution systems (copper, cast iron, PVC, PEX). Troubleshoot pressure, flow, and system performance issues, including leaks, stoppages, and code deficiencies. Perform fixture replacements, valve rebuilds, backflow device installs, and water heater service (tank & tankless) Execute line locating, jetting coordination, and camera inspections as required Interpret construction documents, as-builts, and isometrics for system layout and modifications Generate detailed service reports, scope verification, and material takeoffs in the field Maintain and manage service truck inventory, tools, and diagnostic equipment Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards

Requirements

  • Must have a Driver's license
  • Pass Drug Test and Background
  • Current Journeyman or Master Plumbing License
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S
  • Willing to work some nights/weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred 4 Years of commercial plumbing service experience
