About The Position

Frederick Air Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Journeyman Residential HVAC Service Technician for their Frederick, MD location. The ideal candidate will already have HVAC work experience and be able to perform repair/maintenance work in a thorough and accurate manner to continue our tradition of top-tier service. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
MD Journeyman License & NATE certifications are a plus, or willingness to obtain
Valid license / clean driving record
OSHA 10-hour Construction Course preferred
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
3+ years of HVAC Experience
Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Technical knowledge

Problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

MD Journeyman License & NATE certifications are a plus, or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

Services all equipment according to an established service schedule, and company standards and within acceptable time frames as well as troubleshoot and rectify potential problems on location.
Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and understand and address their HVAC concerns.
Documents legibly and accurately all work completed according to company policy and submitted daily.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and meets company quality standards.
Build and maintains customer relations in the field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the company's image.
Follows all safety procedures, including following all safe driving habits and not utilizing mobile devices in vehicles.
Applies knowledge of products and seeks additional training/education as appropriate.
