About The Position

The Project Financial Analyst will monitor and report on the overall financial health of projects, applying analytic techniques in the evaluation of project objectives based on cost, schedule and performance. Must be able to work independently, demonstrate initiative and contribute to a multi-discipline, rapid action team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years relevant experience.
Security Clearance Required: Secret with eligibility to obtain a Top Secret

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project spend plans and forecasts.
Conduct quantitative analyses of requirements, status, and schedules to determine funding needs and identify risks.
Maintain knowledge and awareness of project funding: types, expiration dates, available funding, movement, etc.
Work closely with Business Financial Managers (BFM) and project teams for knowledge sharing and processes related to the project funding.
Participate in financial reviews. Assist in preparation of reports, financial charts, spend plan reviews, and other decision support products.
Track, review, and analyze contract deliverables as compared to project baselines.
Reconcile financial reports from sources such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning and work to resolve discrepancies.
Provide support with resource planning and execution tracking to include Rough Order of Magnitude development.
Assist with project cost estimates.
Contribute to the development of new project proposals.
Assist in the development, review, revision, and routing of Statements of Objective, Statements of Work, and Justification and Approvals.
Assist in preparing briefing products for working level and flag level meetings.
