About The Position

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing and have a passion for delivering high-quality results. Duties - Install and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and appliances according to local building codes and industry standards. - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the best course of action for plumbing projects. - Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and disassemble plumbing systems. - Work on construction sites, performing tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent leaks, corrosion, and other issues. - Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing problems, using problem-solving skills to find the root cause of the issue. - Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals to ensure that plumbing systems are properly integrated with other aspects of the build. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices. - Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and technologies in the plumbing industry. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience as a Journeyperson Plumber. - A strong background in plumbing and a passion for delivering high-quality results. - A high school diploma or equivalent required. - Completion of an apprenticeship program in plumbing or a related field. - A valid plumber's license, as required by the state or local government. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and diagrams. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. - Experience with construction sites and remodeling projects. - Ability to lift heavy objects and work in cramped spaces. - Strong communication and teamwork skills.
