About The Position

1-800 Plumber +Air of Cleveland is looking for a skilled Journeyman Plumber who takes pride in their work and wants the opportunity to control their income through performance. This position is fully commission-based with additional performance incentives. Earnings are directly tied to productivity, job quality, and the solutions provided to customers. Journeyman plumbers who perform at a high level routinely earn well above traditional hourly roles. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will perform residential and light commercial plumbing service, repair, and installation work. You will diagnose plumbing issues, present repair and replacement options, and complete high-quality, code-compliant work. Typical work includes fixtures, piping repairs, water heaters, drain and sewer work, and general plumbing service calls.

Requirements

• Journeyman-level plumbing experience required
• Valid plumbing license preferred where applicable
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and codes
• Ability to manage service calls independently
• Valid driver’s license required
• Physically capable of performing hands-on plumbing work
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must pass background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial plumbing service and repair work
• Diagnose plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Present repair and replacement options clearly and professionally
• Repair, replace, and install plumbing systems and fixtures
• Perform water heater repairs and replacements
• Address drain and sewer issues as part of service work
• Ensure all work meets plumbing code and safety standards
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Properly document work performed and materials used
• Maintain a clean and professional job site
• Represent the company with professionalism at all times
