Dover Grease is seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber with Backflow Certification to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our company, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings.

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks for plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, fittings, and appliances.
  • Utilize expertise in backflow prevention techniques and equipment to safeguard potable water supplies from contamination.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and customer interactions.
  • Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members, including apprentices and supervisors, to complete projects efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
  • A valid journeyman plumber license is required.
  • Backflow certification is essential, or willingness to enroll in a backflow certification class if lacking certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a journeyman plumber, with a demonstrated track record of excellence in plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
  • In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose plumbing issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
