About The Position

We are hiring immediately for full time JOURNEYMAN PIPEFITTER positions. Location: Quantum - 5001 Blue Mound Road Fort Worth, TX 76106 Note: online applications accepted only. Job SummarySummary: Assists with the day-to-day upkeep, maintenance and smooth operation of the building and campus. Repairs, maintains and assists in the installation of equipment.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of pipefitting experience or completion of a trade school program.
  • Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
  • Secure pipes, valves, hangers, and fittings during assembly or installation.
  • Provide technical experience through execution with various layouts, preparation, and installation of piping systems.
  • Assist other skilled trades (e.g., sheet metal, insulation, welding, plumbing) as needed to support project workflow.
  • Support the layout and organization of materials on-site and help maneuver completed assemblies into place.
  • Stage materials at job sites in a safe and organized manner.
  • Follow all ASME, OSHA, safety standards and company safety procedures. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times (gloves, hard hats, safety glasses, etc.).
  • Assist in performing safety checks and hazard identification on-site.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment. Work cooperatively with crew members to ensure timely job completion.
  • Records information from meters and gauges at specified intervals to verify operating conditions.
  • Makes adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Regularly replaces HVAC air filters.
  • Notifies managers about the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
  • Sets up, arranges and removes decorations, tables, chairs, ladders and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events.
  • Drives vehicles required to perform work.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
