About The Position

Skillforce is currently hiring several Pipe Welders for work in the Louisville, KY area! This is a contract to hire role, working 40+ hours a week across several commercial sites. Pipe Welders will be primarily working with stainless steel pipe and medgas experience is a plus! Pay for this role is up to $35/hr depending upon experience and certification.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pipe Welder, preferably in commercial or industrial construction.
• Strong proficiency in stainless steel pipe welding
• Medgas certification or experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to work 40+ hours per week.
• All required PPE and basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding on stainless steel piping systems in commercial and industrial environments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and weld symbols.
• Prepare, fit, and weld pipe components using appropriate welding techniques and equipment.
• Conduct inspections to ensure welds meet quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with foremen and team members to ensure efficient project completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all site safety procedures.
