I2X Technologies is seeking a Journeyman NetOps Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Tampa, Florida. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.

Requirements

This position requires flexibility to support 24x7 Network Operations including 12 hour shifts as required.
Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ce, CCNA Security, CySA+, etc.)
CCNA
Education: HS Diploma and 5+ years of experience
Clearance: Secret
Essential Requirements: US Citizenship is required.
Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Providing technical expertise for daily operations and maintenance of systems
Effectively troubleshooting, isolating, and resolving technical problems to minimize system downtime
Assisting with preparing and maintaining technical documentation, drawings and related artifacts
Support implementation of routine updates, approved upgrades and engineering or design changes
Help isolate and resolve technical issues and problems that impact multiple networks, systems, and devices.
Providing day to day operational routing and switching support with hands on experience with Cisco Routers and Switches, routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, RIP, etc.)
Troubleshoot routing protocols and end-to-end network performance from the Local Area Network (LAN) through a Wide Area Network (WAN), to a Campus Area Network (CAN).
Willingness to cross train and support multiple technologies in an operational environment including SATCOM, Voice, VDI/Virtualization.
Support the system adherence to industry standards, DOD standards, DOD policies, DOD instructions, DOD directives, cybersecurity policies, and best commercial practices.
Utilize ticketing systems for detailed documentation of outages and network change activities.
Provide technical problem resolution for a wide range of network infrastructure problems or anomalies.
