We are looking for experienced mechanics ready to take the next step into a Lead 3 role and help drive shop performance.

Requirements

• Several years of diesel mechanic experience
• Strong knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and ABS systems
• Experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (CDL preferred, not required)
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

• Welding or fabrication experience preferred
• Leadership or lead experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Review and address driver-reported equipment issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel equipment
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools
• Repair brakes, electrical systems, and other critical components
• Replace worn or damaged parts to maintain safe operation
• Prioritize workflow and assign tasks across the shift
• Train, direct, and support mechanics and apprentices
• Ensure work quality and adherence to company standards
• Act as point of contact for shift operations
• Communicate effectively with leadership and team members
• Provide input on performance, accountability, and discipline
• Maintain accurate repair and maintenance documentation
