About The Position

CACI’s Enterprise IT (EIT) Sector is seeking a Site Logistician to support an Air Force Modernization program. The Site Logistician will be responsible for coordinating the movement of materials, equipment, and personnel to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration and 5+ years of related work experience (HS diploma or associate degree plus 7+ years of experience performing as a Logistician on large, complex programs may be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree)
  • Direct knowledge of Air Force asset management, inventory management, procurement processes, and logistical operations
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and logistical software (e.g., ERP systems)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • CPL (Certified Professional Logistician) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification
  • Experience and success working in a fast-paced, high-volume logistical environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage the tracking, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment at Air Force facilities
  • Coordinate with CACI procurement teams to ensure timely ordering and delivery of supplies
  • Maintains accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Develop and implement logistical procedures and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Liaise with OEM’s, suppliers, resellers, distributors and service providers to resolve logistical issues and ensure service level agreements are met
  • Plan and execute the movement of personnel and equipment within the site, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and present logistical reports and updates to site management and senior leadership
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within the logistical operations
  • Ensure all logistical activities comply with Air Force policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide training and support to site staff on logistical procedures and best practices
