About The Position

EPI Power is seeking Licensed Electricians to be located on a project site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This position is a non-union role. The states that reciprocate Electrician Licenses with Iowa are: Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin. The rate of pay will be $46.00 per hour for Journeyman License Electricians with $100.00 per day of per diem.

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred
• A valid Class A or B license from the State of Iowa
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure
• Ability to make complex cuts not to waste material, and figure out complex forming systems
• Training and complying with all safety rules, and performing without constant supervision
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively with customers and co-workers

Responsibilities

• Install raceways, conduit, and cable trays
• Terminate motors and motor controls
• Pull wire and cable
• Install and terminate transformers, buss duct, switchgear, and motor control centers
• Maintain quality sign-off sheets and customer approval sheets
• Read and interpret all applicable codes, drawings, schematics, sketches, and specifications related to assigned work
• Complete work safely and efficiently, while upholding quality requirements
