Pay $35.00 - $45.00 per hour DOE (Rate will depend on experience and qualifications). Job Description: This role requires a skilled journeyman installer who can perform HVAC installations according to design specifications, mechanical codes, and company quality standards. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or alongside a crew in a fast-paced construction environment.

Requirements

  • Journeyman-level HVAC installation experience in new residential construction
  • Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems and installation practices
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans and construction documents
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools relevant to HVAC installation
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a crew in a construction environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders
  • EPA Section 608 Certification (required)

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Install complete HVAC systems in new residential construction, including furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ductwork, and related components
  • Read and interpret mechanical plans, blueprints, and installation drawings
  • Set equipment, run ductwork, refrigerant lines, gas piping, and condensate drains
  • Ensure all installations meet local and national mechanical codes and manufacturer specifications
  • Perform system start-ups, testing, and verification of proper operation
  • Troubleshoot installation-related issues and make necessary corrections
  • Coordinate work with builders, superintendents, and other trades on job sites
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and installation records
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards
