About The Position

Cirrus is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Journeyman level HVAC Technician to join our Duluth Facilities team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our facilities to support our operations.

Requirements

Valid Journeyman HVAC Technician license preferred. Additional certifications such as EPA Section 608, PLT lic. is preferred. Valid driver's license required.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience as an HVAC technician, with a proven track record in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC systems. Experience in high-tech manufacturing environment is advantageous.
Must have prior experience in operating and troubleshooting BMS systems.
Programing experience preferred.
Strong experience in BAS field engineering and servicing Building Automation systems.
Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC BMS systems and components, including advanced troubleshooting and repair techniques.
Proficiency with HVAC tools, diagnostic equipment, and blueprints.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

HVAC System Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure they operate efficiently and meet safety and regulatory standards.
Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve complex HVAC system issues, including mechanical, electrical, and control problems. Perform repairs and adjustments as necessary to restore system functionality.
Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements while performing HVAC work. Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in codes and regulations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance. Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings and recommendations to management.
Interpret work orders and perform work with limited direction.
Collaboration: Work effectively with other maintenance team members and departments to coordinate efforts and address any HVAC-related issues that impact operations. Provide technical direction and on the job Emergency Response: Be available for on-call duties and respond to emergency HVAC situations as needed, ensuring prompt resolution to minimize disruption Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
Company vehicle driving requirements estimated at 10%; must have valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
