Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration: Expected salary range of $33.92hr to $41.46hr, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). Sr. Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration: Expected salary range of $39.01 to $47.75, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). Primary Purpose of Position Performs a wide range of HVAC/Refrigeration services for Commercial customers and promotes the sale of all other services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair
- All required State licensing
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of HVAC refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical components
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in team environments
- Proven ability to lead and mentor others
- Demonstrated excellent critical thinking skills
- Effective communication skills
- Proven customer service skills
- Must possess a valid state driver's license and have reliable personal transportation

- Completion of a technical school or apprenticeship program
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex HVAC and refrigeration systems, including advanced air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate issues with HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Perform comprehensive maintenance and inspections to prevent system failures and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, to determine the layout and installation requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including detailed service reports and inventory management.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to provide high-quality service.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
