About The Position
Journeyman HVAC Installer - Residential, some Light Commercial Company: Aire Serv of Fargo Location: 429 Main Ave E, West Fargo, ND 58078 Pay: $28.00 - $37.00 per hour depending on experience Schedule : Monday through Thursday (some Fridays when needed) We run organized jobs, respect our installers’ time, and make sure you have what you need to do the job right. We’re looking for a Journeyman HVAC Installer who can help lead installations and keep projects moving while being part of a positive, hardworking, and genuinely fun team environment. This role focuses primarily on residential installations with some light commercial work. Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience
- Ability to install residential HVAC systems from start to finish
- Ability to read basic installation layouts or blueprints
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong work ethic and team mindset
Nice To Haves
- HVAC Journeyman certification or license
- Experience installing ductwork and IAQ products
- Experience with smart thermostats or home automation systems
- Experience mentoring apprentices
- EPA certification
Responsibilities
- Lead high-quality HVAC system installations
- Install furnaces, condensers, split systems, air handlers, ductwork, thermostats, IAQ products, and smart home devices
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure systems perform properly
- Work with contractors and team members to complete projects on time
- Maintain records of work performed and parts used
- May mentor and guide apprentices or junior technicians
- Educate customers on system operation and maintenance
- Follow all safety and industry compliance standards
