In this role you will be responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and inspecting various systems such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC according to code and specifications. You will interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions, and recommend appropriate solutions. Operating tools, equipment, and machinery safely and effectively is essential, as is collaborating with apprentices and providing guidance and mentorship when required. You will ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and safety regulations, complete work orders, time logs, and documentation accurately and on schedule, and assist with estimating materials and labor for projects as needed. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment is also a key responsibility.
