About The Position

Lawton Commercial Services is a leading full service commercial contractor specializing in electrical and plumbing systems. We provide high quality service work across a variety of commercial projects. With a reputation for safety, integrity, and skilled craftsmanship we are looking for experienced Commercial Journeyman Electricians licensed in Texas to join our team! JOB SUMMARY Responsible for professional customer interactions, discovering new sales opportunities and upselling efforts through collaboration with sales personnel, call center personnel and management. Manage personally assigned vehicle inventory, maintenance and reports. Work closely with the Division and Operations Managers and field supervisors to promote outstanding customer service, safety compliance and job assignments on-time and within budget. Provide customers with solutions to all their electrical needs. POSITION OVERVIEW We are currently seeking a Texas-licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. Applicants must hold an active Texas Journeyman Electrician license to be considered for this position. The ideal candidate has a solid work ethic and work history, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to completing work safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License (TSBPE)
  • 3+ years of hands on experience in commercial electrical work
  • Valid Texas Driver License with a clean driving record
  • Must pass a pre-employment Background Check and Drug Test

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on commercial construction and retrofit projects
  • Interpret blueprints, construction documents and technical diagrams
  • Perform conduit bending (EMT, PVC, RMC), wire pulling, switchgear installations, lighting systems and controls
  • Installation of various electrical devices
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems efficiently and safely
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, Texas codes and jobsite safety standards
  • Plan and install electrical systems in accordance with job specifications and local codes
  • Connect and test wiring, circuit breakers, transformers and related components
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate tools and testing equipment
  • Inspect systems fore safety, code compliance and performance; make necessary adjustments and repairs
  • Additional Duties as assigned
