Pearce/Unified is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Journeyman Electrician to join their team in the Southeast, focusing on powering mission-critical facilities, including U.S. military bases and secured federal installations.

Requirements

  • Journeyman Electrical License
  • 6+ years of experience in commercial/industrial electrical work
  • Strong knowledge of low- and medium-voltage power systems
  • Skilled in troubleshooting wiring, circuits, and equipment failures
  • Ability to read and execute from technical drawings and specs
  • Safety-first mindset with problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Valid driver’s license and personal tool set/safety gear
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a federal background check (as required).
  • Must be able to comply with OSHA and applicable DOT Standards.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (if driving a Company Vehicle) and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and components (switchgear, panelboards, MCCs, transformers, lighting, controls).
  • Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, delivering safe, reliable repair solutions.
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC (NFPA70) standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Prepare accurate material takeoffs for project needs.
  • Collaborate with other trades to keep projects on schedule.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.
  • Travel as needed to project sites across the U.S.
