About The Position
GMEA Electrical Services is currently hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician for an immediate start on a commercial project at Costco in New Braunfels. We’re looking for skilled electricians with strong commercial experience who can work independently and help lead on-site crews.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license (Texas preferred if required)
- Strong commercial electrical experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
Nice To Haves
- Experience on large commercial builds preferred
Responsibilities
- Install, bend, and run EMT and other conduit systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
- Install panels, switchgear, and distribution equipment
- Pull and terminate feeders and branch circuits
- Troubleshoot and ensure work meets NEC and local code
- Maintain high safety standards on a commercial job site
