About The Position
Ludvik Electric Co., with its corporate office in Lakewood, CO and satellite offices in Phoenix, AZ and Salt Lake City, UT, has completed projects all over the United States and abroad. We are considered one of the top electrical contractors and our success depends on our hardworking, dedicated employees. We are currently seeking licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our team. Candidates must have the ability to perform commercial or industrial electrical work with minimal supervision in a safe and professional manner.
Requirements
- Colorado journeyman electrician license.
- OSHA 10
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the NEC and electrical codes.
- Must possess excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Repair motors and generators.
- Replace fuses and set circuit breakers on high and low tension circuits.
- Diagnose electrical problems and maintain ability to work from a wiring diagram.
- Work independently and on a team.
- May provide direction to less experienced electricians.
- Assist in evaluating and mentoring apprentice electricians.
- Connect and disconnect electric powered machines.
- Plans and performs job installation and maintains electrical equipment such as control panels, switchboards, junction boxes, and switches.
